Festival "Chervona Ruta-2011"
November 17 in Kiev starts XII Ukrainian festival "Chervona Ruta-2011."
This year the festival will take with record number of finalists - 850 young performers (164 soloists and groups) from all regions of Ukraine and Crimea.
Especially for the Festival of Youth and performing artists will create about 300 new songs in Ukrainian.
Festival competitions will be held six most popular music genres:
- Pop Music - 31 people (28 soloists and groups),
- modern dance music - 19 people (7 soloists and groups),
- rock music - 158 people (36 groups),
- acoustic music - 46 people (11 soloists and groups),
- other music - 52 people (8 groups),
- Also this year for the first time the "Red rue" introduced a new genre - Ukrainian authentic folklore, which is the most participants - 544 people (74 soloists and groups).
During four days of the festival will be held 6 events.
Thus, November 17-19 will be held final contests in Kiev Academic Theatre of "Younogo glyadacha" (Lipky) and Congress Hall "President Hotel". Gala concert of the winners of the festival will be held November 20 in Kyiv National Academic Theatre of Operetta.
Getting performances November 17-19 from 10 am, and November 20 from 9.00 am.
