The Opening Day at Master Klass
The Master Klass Culture and Education Centre welcomes you and your family to visit us on the Opening Day on 22 nd September at 11 a.m.! Opening Day programme provides a variety of interesting and exciting activities for both children and adults. A special guest of the festival will be a popular ethnic group “DakhaBrakha”!
11.00 a.m. – 2.00 p.m. For our youngest guests there is a scheduled programme entitled “The House that OKeshka Built”. It is a specially designed programme by OKeshka Club – the Child Training and Education Centre. Having dropped into OKeshka on this holiday, your children will be able to play various games, create amazing things with their own hands, launch balloons of wishes to OKeshka’s anthem, and do other interesting things (this programme is designed for 2-6-year-old children).
11.00 a.m. – 3.00 p.m. For our young fans of English, Oxford Klass has prepared a unique gift – the programme entitled “At Alice in Wonderland’s Party”. Your kids will learn about amazing Lewis Carroll’s characters, visit the Wonderland mad tea party, get a chance to taste the “Humpty Dumpty” magic cocktail and personally do handicraft and other amazing things. Live English will be heard at this party!
11.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. Our Art Studio invites kids to visit the Art Yard “Navale domini” (“The Yard of Masters”), where they will be able to participate in various exciting master classes! With the help of professional artists, our young guests will have a unique opportunity to become potters, make paper decorations, paint, decorate furniture, make things from hay, etc. In the meantime, you will be able to visit our fair presenting works of our Art Studio’s employees, held in the same yard.
11.00 a.m. If your dream is to know the basic principles of table appointments, you will have a rare opportunity to get a master class in festive table setting from one of the best designers in Ukraine – Olha Kondrats’ka! Master classes will be held every hour to 3.00 p.m.
11.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. Every hour will take place a presentation entitled “School for Parents”, which is designed for moms and dads who want to know everything about parenting and children, pregnancy and childbirth, health and relationships, and other relevant topics.
11.00 a.m. – 3.00 p.m. Master Klass Theatre Studio has prepared its presentation for kids and teenagers. It will give your children a great chance to change the world and discover the hidden acting talents!
11.00 a.m. – 3.00 p.m. Our Photo Studio, which is scheduled to open just on the Opening Day, will gladly look for photo-talents! Our Photo Studio will give your children a good opportunity to show their skills and join a community of professional photographers.
12.00 p.m. – 2.00 p.m. If you or your child is not indifferent to the world of computers, you should visit an informative course entitled “Effective Google Search”, which was designed by our ITdo! School of Information Technology. The first of three course classes will be held in the context of the Opening Day.
1.00 p.m. Another meeting will be waiting for you and your children. A talented children’s author Nika Inina and a budding poet Dmytro Shostak will willingly share their stories about their own author’s heritage. Nika Inina, an author of the fantastic novel “Hrangely”, will visit Master Klass for the second time, and finally satisfy the curiosity of her readers regarding continuation of the popular book. Inga Levi, an artist who created the illustrations for the book, will be helping her.
2.00 p.m. – 3.00 p.m. A presentation of the project entitled “Cultural and Family Tourism with Master Klass” will take place. You will be told funny stories about our summer adventures on Crete, in the UK and in our capital.
3.00 p.m. You will be able to watch the show of “DakhaBrakha”! This group is a bright star in the Ukrainian music space. Its extremely emotional “ethno-chaos” songs have already conquered the local audience.
3.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m. This time, at its mad tea party, Oxford Klass will be happy to welcome adults! Over a cup of fragrant tea, tasting a very tender cupcake or crispy cracker, it will be much easier for you to start talking and get real pleasure from the English language!
7.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m. The final point in our Opening Day will be a legendary Charlie Chaplin film “The Gold Rush”, which will immerse you into the atmosphere of the twenties of the previous century! Silent film showing will be accompanied by a professional pianist’s play.
